Today was the second day where no weight was lost. A little depressing but all in all I know deep down I am doing the right thing health wise. Even if I never lose another pound at least I am not filling my body with junk. Had I continued to do that it would have been the greatest tragedy and disservice to myself. Remaining strong when you have no positive reinforcement(Weight Loss) is pretty hard but you have to force yourself to chin up and take it like a man. I have decided to add Centrum Silver which based on my research appears to be a very healthy and balanced multi vitamin. It occurred to me that maybe I am missing some chemical that will spur my body to the next phase of weight loss. I find that I am always thinking of ways to improve this regimen. As I mentioned before it may be time to add a different kind of cardio. I am not much one for video tapes like sweating to the oldies because lets face it I am white and can't dance for sh*t. This whole experience reminds me of me and my mom. At one point we were both struggling with our weight. At this point my mother has finally concurred her weight demons but I am just starting out. Something funny occurred to me as well I totally forgot that last time I tried this was three years ago. I wonder if hitting 30 yrs old is influencing the way my body is reacting to my weight loss efforts. In any event I hope to have lost a token pound by tomorrow. If not no sweat just gotta keep tweaking until I figure out the missing element. I have a friend who is a dietician that I am trying to tap to help me through some of these issues and build me a diet plan that is recommended at the academic level. I though about weight watchers and Jenny Craig mainly to get at their dietician but I think they may only have nutritionists on staff. Apparently there is a big difference.
