Day 7 a little piece of heaven

Ok so today was interesting day I attempted to walk Lady and April together. "Lady" who is the baby was dragging me forward while "April" who is my big girl was lagging behind and at times literally pushing her paws down like if you were trying to move a stubborn donkey. So I looked as if I was Jesus on the cross because my arms were stretched out so far. It was not only a leg exercise it was a chest and biceps exercise as well. Later on however I just took Lady out because I couldn't get the pace I usually do with April holding me back. I have a feeling this is what being a parent is like. Having to pick and choose who to do certain activities with and feeling guilty because you have to leave one of your babies at home. I don't want her to feel excluded so I usually have to have the wife take her in the other room so I can sneak out. I intend to add April and Lady to my morning walk because I cannot let April not get her exercise if I want her to live a long full life.

Waist Size: My size 38 Slacks require minimal to no suck in.
Body Condition: Slightly Less protruding (no change from yesterday) stomach hang over the belt line is horizontal instead of horizontal then vertical, walking stairs 1-2 flights does not leave me winded, sweating normally.
Mental Condition: Feeling good and more healthy.

I just wanted to take time to explain my exercise routine in case people were wondering. I typically split my morning routine into 2 parts a morning routine and an evening routine. I do 10 mins Elliptical in the morning 10 in the evening. I was doing 20 - 25 at a clip but I find that it fatigues my muscles more than keeping my heart rate up. This is because I can go harder for less time then if I have to sit there and consider the whole 20 mins. Also it gives me the opportunity to burn any food I have just eaten almost right away like after breakfast or dinner. Also I think this helps me burn more calories as I sleep because my body is forced to use cals as food to repair my muscle tissue while I sleep. I try to walk my dogs at a brisk pace although I typically count on Lady who is my little champ. She has puppy energy which forces me to step my game up. I have to keep up with her. I have a feeling if I ran the whole 25 min course she could do it no problem while I would be gasping and have to catch my breath at least 3-4 times. I love walking the dogs because they have never had exercise like this before. I have a feeling soon the dogs will be much healthier and happier as will I.
